Pixi: Succulent Lip Twin

For a while now I've been wanting to write about this little gem. It's a tinted lip balm with a built in lip and cheek stain in the cap! How delicious is this!

The colour I have is No2 called Coral Camellia. These come in 4 different shades.

Inside the cap you'll find the lip and cheek stain. You can just dab it on straight from the container and lightly blend it out with your fingers. This colour is so fresh and in season!

This is the little cap all by itself. This lip and cheek tint is packed with soothing and moisturising ingredients such as shea butter, beeswax, jojoba seed oil, mango seed oil, avocado oil, vitamin E and aloe vera seed extract. You'll get a total of 2g product witch is generously pigmented so a little goes a long way.

In the tube you'll find the tinted lip balm. It's soothing and fully packed with natural oils and waxes such as beeswax, almond oil, lavender extract, jojoba seed oil, avocado oil and vitamin E. It's easy to squeeze out of the tube and gently put it on with your finger or a brush. In the tube you'll ger 12g of product.

Swatch.

To the left you have the lip balm. It's non-sticky super glossy with a very nice taste. It's so hard to describe it though... it's almost like a delicious old style humbug!

To the right is a swatch of the lip and cheek tint. It has the same taste and smell as the balm. The texture is smooth and rather matte. It's so suitable for your cheeks, it makes the colour look like it comes from within!

All and all this is an adorable product that not only works but is cute, multi functional and taste scrumptious! In the ingredients list there is also titanium dioxide wich makes me think that it could also have a SPF of at least 5, witch is very good for the summer. If I had to change anything it would be the tube. I'd like to have the top shaped as a lipgloss applicator so you could apply the balm straight from the container but this is not a big issue for me. To use a brush makes it more hygienic.

You can buy these online at pixibeauty.co.uk or at pixibeauty.com for US. If you live in London you can also get it at Pixi's cosy beauty shop on 22A Fouberts place off Carnaby street. The Succulent Lip Twin is £12 and totally worth it. Check out the other colours as well, may I recommend No4 Poppy Red!

Etude House: Miss Tangerine nail kit

Today I got my little parcel from Ebay. I had to take a chance on this lovely set of polishes. I have been ogling the Miss Tangerine line since it came out and I absolutely love it! I'd like to get my hands on some of the lipsticks, cheek tints and the follow me lip balm from the line. Such juicy and sweet colours!

This is the Petite Darling Nails Kit.

In the box there are 3 polishes in 3 different shades. The idea is to grade them on top of each other for a really sparkling nail tip look, almost as if it was gel.

Back of the box.

On the back of the box you get instructions on how do do your nails. Luckily for me, who don't speak or read korean, there are also pictures. To my surprise there is actually a short instruction written in english too. It has never been easier!

First coat.

The first colour is called Tangerine Pink Nail Colour. Put one coat over the whole nail.

Second coat.

The second colour is Sparkling Tangerine Pearl Coat. This one goes on the upper half of your nail.

Third coat.

The last colour is called Bling Bling Tangerine Pearl Coat and goes on over the tip of the nail.

Make sure you wait for the coats to dry in between but I didn't find this taking a long time at all. The quality of these is super amazing. Dryes fast and coats very even. Each polish bottle contains 7ml of product. I was so happy to se that this set is not a tiny polish bottle deal, these are full size and you can use it many times over!

The finished result.

It didn't take me long to apply and it was very easy. The colours merge beautifully together and the finished result looks so professional, like I have gel nails! For the honesty, I took the photo only with the 3 polishes on, so no top coat. I will be putting a clear top coat on for longer wearability and also to protect the glitter polishes. As the particles are many you can feel a little bit of roughness but I'm not fussed about it. I just like to put a clear polish for the extra shine too. I like to use CND Super Shiney top coat.

Hopefully in the future I can get hold of other polishes from Etude House. I really like the quality and the ease of putting them on. For about £6.50 I call this 3 nail polish kit an Ebay bargain and I would totally recommend it if you're into oranges and corals like me!
