Asagi-sama's birthday.

I just want to make a quick post because it's a new month and I realised one of my TOP favourite singers Asagi (currently active with D) is having his birthday on the 29th of August. Not only that but I'd like to post a photo of him, surely most of them are photoshopped but never the less, he will be 37 years this year and I'd love to know his secret, how does he keep on looking so good!! Judge for yourselves.

I tried to find a photo with less make-up and less editing. He's just amazing and possessed the most extraordinary voice! ❤

Japan: A wonderful product swap!

How I want to quickly share with you all, a fun product swap with sweet Mamiko from Japan. It all started with her telling me about the wonderful BB cream from the japanese band Nanoce. She offered to send one to me as we all know it's so difficult to get hold of things like this in Europe. I suggested to send her something back and one thing led to another, and here we are with a wonderful product swap from Japan!

In advance I'd like to apologise for the slightly bad photos. My iPhone got stolen and I had to use my old camera. Please, click the photos to see a larger version of them so you can have a proper look at the products. But I hope you'll enjoy this fun packed parcel with me!

Yes, it's huge! So cute. I picked it up before work and was exited the whole day to have a peek. What's inside?

Firs look at the opened parcel. So cute, I can see a bunny rabbit dress in a kimono. So adorable!

After unwrapping all the bubble wrap the box was bursting with cute, amazing and so exiting things!

The product that started this swap is the BB cream in the middle. Now I got 3 japanese BB creams to try and after swatching them on my hand I can already tell that I'll love each and every one of them! The colour is matching perfectly! For some reason I find the japanese BB more yellow in the tone then the korean ones, they are more pink. To me, that's great news! I can't wait to use these! I got to give a review on these, most likely film one.

Here's a Kiss Me mascara for length and curls, next to it is a mascara remover. What an amazing idea! You apply it, wait for 1 minute then just wipe it off. I can't wait to try this! And little bunny with a cookie ring. I love those rings!

Gloss, blush, nail polish and cream blush from Canamake. I have never tried this brand before but Mamiko suggested it to me. It looks adorable and I love all the colours!

I also requested few items. As many of you already know I love Lavshuca! Just the best packaging and great products, made by Kanebo! This is a duo eyeshadow, blush, lipstick and nail polish.

Eyeliner, eyeliner brush from Kate (another Kanebo favourite of mine) I requested, Sweets Sweets nail polish in an amazing orange colour with glitter (can't wait to use) and a beautiful eyeshadow palette from Visée by Kosé.

And how adorable is this! Hello Kitty blotting paper, the sweetest make-up bag with yummy berries and the amazing invention of velcro hair clips. Why are these amazing? Because they won't mess up your hair while putting make-up on, also if you have short fringe it won't make it to stand up when you'll take it off. Pure genius!

I'm not really sure what these saches are suppose to do (UPDATE! It's for exfoliation.) but I got a great explanation on how to use them. I think it's to moisturise the face. Looks interesting. A sweet card and so sweet earrings, I had to zoom in on those!

Look at these sweet origami swans! Ah, I love these! Never seen something like this before. Such a lovely present!

OK, here's something you might not know about me, I LOVE matcha candy, I love MATCHA everything!! And KitKat, PLEASE start making these in Europe, looks so yummy, I can't get enough... I'm so jealous, I want green tea KitKat here too!!

Instant matcha tea? Don't mind if I do! I love this in hot milk, it's super delicious and very addictive. I got to have a look at the date of these, I might save them for cold winter days to sooth my mind and dream myself away to Japan.

This box is huge! These nibbly matcha, crispy candy snacks, my mouth waters! I'm not a selfish person but these are mine! Ah, I'm not sharing, I'll be like Golum with his ring, my precious!

And this is it for my product swap from Japan, a box filled with popping bubble wrap and excitement to use new products. I will use them in my videos and I have a great feeling there will be a "I ❤ BB cream part 3" made on my YouTube channel. What can I say, to quote my best friend -"You might be white on the outside but you're yellow on the inside." Ok, OK, she's chinese, never the less... I have a strange love for things japanese, and I'm not ashamed about it.

Thank you ever so much sweet Mamiko, I hope we can do this again some day, this was so much fun and I hope you'll like your products as much as I love mine! THANK YOU!!

IllamasQua: Lipstick in Sangers

It was about time for me to get a IllamasQua lipstick. I have no idea why I waited for so long. I guess I have so many lipsticks I never really though of getting more of them.

What can I say, a lady can never get enough of red lipsticks and when I laid my eyes on this beauty from IllamasQua's previous collection I just had to put it in my cart!

Look at it, it's so beautiful!

I really like the IlamasQua packaging, it has this wonderful '20s feel. The colour of this one is amazing. It's called Sangers and one of the most perfectly red lipsticks you can get your lips on!

Take a look at that!

I have only tried it once and the pigmentation is superb. It has a rather thick feel and stains the lip, just the way I like it! It didn't feel drying at all. It tastes of vanilla but not as strong as MAC does. The aftertaste is bit bitter but nothing I find disturbing. It really melts onto the lips like butter leaving them evenly coated with a perfectly pigmented layer.

This is a quick coat without liner, applied with the lipstick:

All and all I'd highly recommend these lipsticks, not only because they look and feel good but also because the colour range is so big. Ever looked for a blue one? Look no further, it can be yours for £15.50 at IllamasQua.

Sweetheart: A big parcel from Anna!

Look what was waiting on my desk when I got home from work!

It's massive. OMG! Got to open it quickly. So exiting!

Ah, such beautiful booklet from Missha, and I see a letter too!

Heart moving letter from sweet Anna. So nice to get a handwritten letter. Anna, you are so sweet!

There are bundels and bundels of little parcels for me to open. It's like Christmas on a sunny day!

First uncovered, a super cute make-up bag from Baviphat. Sugar girl, that's me, I love all sugar!

Inside there is Holika Holika sample, 2 beautiful lipsticks from Skin Food and also a minty plumping gloss. I love the colours she chose, a coral and a beige nude.

A really lovely BB cream from The Face Shop. Wow, this feels so nice and looks lovely on my skin! It looks like I might have a new favourite for the summer.

Pucca, so cute! I love the love story. Holika Holika strawberry compact. It's so amazing to have powder with such high SPF.

Pucca powder compact from The Face Shop and Holika Holika strawberry compact. I love the packaging, OMG, I can't wait to get one of these out of my bag on the bus to reapply my lippy!

A sample of the Apple Scrub Soda from Holika Holika. This feels so lovely, the grains are so small, it's more like a polish. I'm looking forward to trying this. My skin always need to get rid of those dry dead cells. I get exited to try Holika Holika products, the ones I have are amazing. This brand is so nice and everything is of super high quality.

More samples from Lioele. I love to try new things, also a sample of a perfume. Got to put on for tomorrow! And the sweet blush from Etude House, I simply love the colour! It's so pretty I'm scared to use it!

Skin Food samples. Ah, I remember the shop I went to in Hong Kong. Me and my twin muimui went all crazy. All was so nice! Oh, and some wrinkle fighting samples, good thinking Anna!

I really can't wait to try the Holika Holika Aqua Splash skincare. I can't get enough of moisture on my face. Nature Republic toners and emulsion... BB cream from The Face Shop. I really can't wait to try it all!

Ah, look, I finally get to try snail cream! BB samples and ampoule from Nature Republic.

First I though, mmm... this looks like chocolate, then I opened the box.

It's a vitamin-K 4 weeks program from Nature Republic. This looks so luxurious! My skin will look like a baby.

Nature Republic skincare and primers. I'm so impressed by the packaging. This is such a luxury in wonderfully designed pots. Eye cream and serum to lift the skin, Melon and Lemon primers.

I never seen an eye cream pot looking like this. Look at the lid!

It's like a secret stash of pure eye goodness. When I finish this cream I'm planning to use the pot for something nice!

OMG! Look at all the stuff! It's like Christmas and birthday put together in one! Thank you Anna so much, you really didn't have to, I highly appreciate all of the things.

I have a plan. As all the horrible things have been happening to Anna... now also her new YouTube and the Blog is gone... all gone, I'd like to pass on some of her reviews and test and review the products she sent me. I will try the skincare brand by brand and review it. I know I can't do it as good as Anna, I can't read Korean, but I will try as good as I can. I feel so sad and upset thinking about what happened and still happening to her. I miss her channel, I miss her blog so much! I wish I could do something more to help.

Anna, please stay safe and healthy. This is so horrifying, I can only imagine what you must be going through. Please let me know if you need anything, you know that!

Thank you so much Anna and I'm sending lots of love to you! xoxo

Pixi: Succulent Lip Twin

For a while now I've been wanting to write about this little gem. It's a tinted lip balm with a built in lip and cheek stain in the cap! How delicious is this!

The colour I have is No2 called Coral Camellia. These come in 4 different shades.

Inside the cap you'll find the lip and cheek stain. You can just dab it on straight from the container and lightly blend it out with your fingers. This colour is so fresh and in season!

This is the little cap all by itself. This lip and cheek tint is packed with soothing and moisturising ingredients such as shea butter, beeswax, jojoba seed oil, mango seed oil, avocado oil, vitamin E and aloe vera seed extract. You'll get a total of 2g product witch is generously pigmented so a little goes a long way.

In the tube you'll find the tinted lip balm. It's soothing and fully packed with natural oils and waxes such as beeswax, almond oil, lavender extract, jojoba seed oil, avocado oil and vitamin E. It's easy to squeeze out of the tube and gently put it on with your finger or a brush. In the tube you'll ger 12g of product.

Swatch.

To the left you have the lip balm. It's non-sticky super glossy with a very nice taste. It's so hard to describe it though... it's almost like a delicious old style humbug!

To the right is a swatch of the lip and cheek tint. It has the same taste and smell as the balm. The texture is smooth and rather matte. It's so suitable for your cheeks, it makes the colour look like it comes from within!

All and all this is an adorable product that not only works but is cute, multi functional and taste scrumptious! In the ingredients list there is also titanium dioxide wich makes me think that it could also have a SPF of at least 5, witch is very good for the summer. If I had to change anything it would be the tube. I'd like to have the top shaped as a lipgloss applicator so you could apply the balm straight from the container but this is not a big issue for me. To use a brush makes it more hygienic.

You can buy these online at pixibeauty.co.uk or at pixibeauty.com for US. If you live in London you can also get it at Pixi's cosy beauty shop on 22A Fouberts place off Carnaby street. The Succulent Lip Twin is £12 and totally worth it. Check out the other colours as well, may I recommend No4 Poppy Red!

Etude House: Miss Tangerine nail kit

Today I got my little parcel from Ebay. I had to take a chance on this lovely set of polishes. I have been ogling the Miss Tangerine line since it came out and I absolutely love it! I'd like to get my hands on some of the lipsticks, cheek tints and the follow me lip balm from the line. Such juicy and sweet colours!

This is the Petite Darling Nails Kit.

In the box there are 3 polishes in 3 different shades. The idea is to grade them on top of each other for a really sparkling nail tip look, almost as if it was gel.

Back of the box.

On the back of the box you get instructions on how do do your nails. Luckily for me, who don't speak or read korean, there are also pictures. To my surprise there is actually a short instruction written in english too. It has never been easier!

First coat.

The first colour is called Tangerine Pink Nail Colour. Put one coat over the whole nail.

Second coat.

The second colour is Sparkling Tangerine Pearl Coat. This one goes on the upper half of your nail.

Third coat.

The last colour is called Bling Bling Tangerine Pearl Coat and goes on over the tip of the nail.

Make sure you wait for the coats to dry in between but I didn't find this taking a long time at all. The quality of these is super amazing. Dryes fast and coats very even. Each polish bottle contains 7ml of product. I was so happy to se that this set is not a tiny polish bottle deal, these are full size and you can use it many times over!

The finished result.

It didn't take me long to apply and it was very easy. The colours merge beautifully together and the finished result looks so professional, like I have gel nails! For the honesty, I took the photo only with the 3 polishes on, so no top coat. I will be putting a clear top coat on for longer wearability and also to protect the glitter polishes. As the particles are many you can feel a little bit of roughness but I'm not fussed about it. I just like to put a clear polish for the extra shine too. I like to use CND Super Shiney top coat.

Hopefully in the future I can get hold of other polishes from Etude House. I really like the quality and the ease of putting them on. For about £6.50 I call this 3 nail polish kit an Ebay bargain and I would totally recommend it if you're into oranges and corals like me!
